Is it Even Possible?

It felt appropriate to begin this forum with the question - Is a Protopian Future even possible?
I have created this website and devoted most of my adult life to the pursuit of this goal but I realize that not everyone agrees with me. Let's use this first topic as a springboard to address the possibility of this outcome, and then those who want to can delve into the many different aspect of what a protopian future might be like. And most importantly, what do we need to do to get from here to there.
